Waiting

Waiting

Thailand.

Less than a week away.

Lot’s of thoughts going through my head. Expectations, nervousness, hopefulness, excitement, doubt, worry, anticipation. I could keep going all night long.

My plan is to submerge myself in prayer this week seeking the Lords face. I don’t even know where to begin, but that is what I am going to do. Starting tonight. I don’t have much school to worry about, but what I do have will be taken care of. God has called me to go on this trip and I can’t back down now. I’m going to Thailand in less than a week.

I’m scared…

I’m excited..

But most of all. I know…

The Lord is going to use me in a mighty way. More than anything I can ever imagine.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 ESV

For now i’m waiting.

Having cold feet is totally normal and expected right now. The first time I was going to Japan, there were many times I wanted to turn around and forget all about it. Thank GOD, I didn't. It was the best six months of my life (other than my first 6 months as a mom). Once you get on that plane, the adventure will begin and you will be changed in ways you can't even imagine right now. I can't wait to hear about what the Lord will teach you in your 14 day trip!
