Session Notes: Louie Giglio
Louie: The candlelight prayer thing last night was… wow.
Louie: Before anything else, I just wanna make sure we’re ready to hear the voice of God, hear his word.
Louie: Thank you God for raising us up this morning. I pray that you breath out the heart of Jesus to Passion 2012 today.
Louie: Where we started was in Luke 7… I said if you could sum up #Passion2012 in a statement, it would be this.
Louie is telling a story about how #Passion2012 has changed the hearts of many GWCC employees. The presence of God is here.
Louie: So let’s all mark this down – When God comes, he’s not limited by walls, by job titles…
Louie: When God shows up everybody knows when God is in the house.
Louie: In real-time, you were talking to the world [two nights ago when #HowGreatIsOurGod was trending].
Louie: This morning CNN aired a piece about what #Passion2012 was doing with freedom. #CNN @CNN
Louie reads from Ephesians 6:19
Thank you @CNNFreedom for lifting up the cause of Freedom at Passion 2012
Louie: I’m not against education, I went to college for 6 solid years of my life. That’s what happens when you flunk out.
Louie: But here’s the problem – You are in a system that is setting you up for a not-yet-arrived-at destination.
Of note: #Passion2012 is the number two trending word WORLDWIDE right now.
Louie: Jesus has come on the scene, and he’s stretched out his hand and wrecked your funeral…
Louie: …and awakened you to the reality that God can do anything and everything
Louie: Jesus says, ‘I’m the one that’s gonna do something significant and I’m the one that’s gonna raise you from the dead.’
Louie: The plans and purposes of God are right now.
Louie: I think the first hurdle is brokenness. Adversity. Trial. Hardship.
Louie gives a shout out to the Chick-fil-A bowl organizers for allowing #Passion2012 to set-up a bit in the Georgia Dome.
Louie: The Chick-fil-A logo was designed in 1964. The guy who created the logo is Louie Giglio – my Dad.
Louie: In April of 1995, my Dad died.
Louie: Within weeks after that moment, God [opened the doors of Passion]
Louie: Out of brokenness, fearlessness.
Louie: Brokenness is the bow from which God launches the arrows of healing.
Louie: Don’t let the enemy tell you that your brokenness is going to disqualify you from spreading the news of Jesus.
Louie: Can we just stick a pin in the balloon of what God’s will is for your life?
Louie: Ask God to give you the words to fearlessly proclaim the spirit of the gospel.
@LiveAtPassion — Thank you LiveAtPassion for lifting up the cause of #endslavery at #Passion2012 Via CNN Freedom Project

Louie: Trevor Bayne won the Daytona 500 at 20 years old.
Louie: After the race he said, I just want to give glory to Jesus.
Louie: Later that year, he got Lyme disease and was knocked out of contention for the rest of the year.
Louie: Trevor Bayne still loved Jesus.
Louie: Since we’ve started #Passion2012… you’ll be happy to know that Trevor Banye has been sitting right over there.
Louie: What are you waiting for?
Louie: You know how to minimize your fears? You maximize that one fear by saying I am chained to the unchain-able Jesus.
Louie shares the story of a girl who left #Passion2007 obliterated with a heart for the Lord.
Louie: Be fearless.
Louie: Boldly does not always mean Loudly.
Louie: Jesus fearlessly hung on the cross and proclaimed the mystery of the gospel.
Louie: Jesus, we humbly ask that you’d ignite and raise up out of the ashes and give beauty as the out-working expression of broken people.
Louie: … I pray today right now as we do raise our white flag that you would stretch back the bow…
Louie: …and that our white flag today would be us saying insert me as the arrow and fling me, Jesus, with healing for the whole world.
