Here’s a bio straight from the band.

We’re a four piece rock band from Minneapolis. We’ve been creating music since 2002, and have played everywhere from garage shows to high-wattage mainstage festival sets. We love bands like Switchfoot and Anberlin, but we really enjoy hanging out with our local friends and their bands whenever we’re not on the road. You can catch us at a show, we’ll either be playing it or we’ll be hanging out. The only things we like more than a rock show are sunsets and long walks on beaches.

I haven’t know about these guys for that long, but I know one thing about them. They love Jesus. The music they are creating is for Him and inspired by Him. That’s epic! I’d love to hear what you guys think. Take a listen to the sample below and leave your comments below.

    Distraction

    Brian Alexander —  April 23, 2011 — 6 Comments

I was challenged by my friend John to write about distraction. It’s something that I am currently struggling with so it couldn’t have come at a more perfect time to accept the challenge to blog about it.

I am currently trying to write a legal brief for Mass Media Law & Regulations as a part of my undergraduate degree at North Greenville University. This is the second legal brief that I am writing for this class. I made a 90% of the first one, so i’m not too worried about my grade on this one, however, we have to have 5 more sources for this one, equaling 25 total. Let’s just be real for a minute. That’s CRAZY!

Yesterday I completed my title page, introduction and first source. Today I accomplished a little bit more. I battled disruptions all day long. This paper is due on Monday and I need to work on other projects for other classes as well. Why can’t things like ADD, and ADHD not exist in our world? Hyper-activity is something that a ton of people struggle with. Who’s fault is that? I don’t have an answer to that question. Think about it!

This is never a good sign

This is never a good sign

Blogging can even be a disruption. As I was writing this post I came across the gray box of death on my MacbookPro.

Thankfully wordpress saved a draft of my blog post so I didn’t loose much. Social media is defiantly a distraction. Twitter, FB, YouTube. IDK how many hours i’ve spent of my life on YouTube just watching lame videos when i’ve had more important things to do.

Speaking of more important things. This paper, like I said, it’s due Monday. It needs to be finished!

When have you been disrupted? Tell me about it!
